Juan Carlos Sáez began his professional career in 1996 when he joined the Taxation Department of Montcada i Rexach Town Hall, where he advised and gave legal support in the Municipal Tax Inspection Section. Later, in 1998, he moved into the private sector, and joined a law firm in Barcelona, where he stayed for over 7 years, giving legal advice on civil and contractual matters to companies and individuals. Finally, he joined together with the other partners to form Aequitas Abogados Asociados.

Juan Carlos Sáez has concentrated his professional activity basically on civil and procedural law, specialising in contractual law, conveyance, succession and wills. At a procedural level his work is based on legal claims of a contractual nature over civil and mercantile matters, claims on real estate questions and litigation.

He has also concentrated on family law, specifically processes of separation and divorce.
